Jasmin:
Hi, and welcome to our little series that we have going on here, talking about our new feature, Hub Boost. My name is Jasmin Salas and I'll be here replacing Adam Steadley as our host. And this is Dan Bush. We are both from Joseki Tech, and we want to talk to you a little bit about our updates on this new initiative that we're pushing up. So, Dan, last week we talked about a little bit of how Hub Boost is an integration, an AI integration into HubSpot, so that we can tailor our or more personalize our emails to our clients. And last week we discussed a few of the issues that were going on with it, how we're troubleshooting
it. And so we have a few more solutions this week to demo take it away.
Dan:
Yeah, that's correct. Behind all this is we've done an integration to OpenAI and we're using an assistant there to hook into the AI capabilities. And that assistant really is only as smart as we've taught it to be. And one of the ways that we teach it things is we use a feature of the assistance. It's relatively new. It's called knowledge base. And knowledge base allows you to upload a number of files that it will then scan and tokenize and it will incorporate into its generation results. Now, the initial set of information I gave it was just the rudimentary stuff. This is who we are as Joseki Tech. These are some basic offerings and basic skill sets. Here are some resources that work there, some projects that we've done.
Dan:
So it has some things, but it has no concept of the fact that we're working on artificial intelligence stuff right now. For this demo here, we can go in and we can go to HubSpot and we can try to generate a sales contact email asking it to present us and our skill sets with AI, which it should do a pretty poor job because I haven't given it any information about what our capabilities are. And then we can then update the knowledge base. We can include those details of what we've been working on here. Integration to AI and the building of a chrome extension and integration to HubSpot here. And then we can ask it to generate that again and hopefully we will see it incorporate the new details that are in the knowledge base.
Jasmin:
Awesome. So, as just a small recap from last week, we did test it a little bit. We saw that it gave us certain outputs that were very general and that didn't know too much about us. So this week we are talking a little bit more about what we're putting into it so that it can make sure that it sounds like us. AI has a lot of problems with it right now about making sure that it sounds human. It will never truly sound human, but the closest that we can get to it is making sure that it knows all the information that we know or that it has the knowledge base that you're talking about so that we can better tailor these messages to our customers.
Dan:
Yeah. First objective here is just to make sure it's armed with enough knowledge to start with. Exactly. After that, you know, we have on the upcoming plan is to also go through a fine tuning process, which I'm sure we'll cover in a later, you know, for sure.
Jasmin:
So we will just jump right into it and see how we can kind of manipulate our knowledge base to make it sound more like us.
Dan:
Okay, so we're picking up here where we left off last week with our contact with Bill Gates and we're going to generate a sales email. We click on, create an email and as you can see, the plugin kicked in and we now have our hub boost. We'll press hub boost and plugin will do its magic. It'll talk to AI, it'll submit that contact and some details about them and try to generate sales email. Okay, so we have our generated sales email here. I guess the thing to notice is it doesn't say anything currently about our AI capabilities.
Jasmin:
Yeah. So a small bit that it says about us specifically would be that we specialize in strategic direction. If we scroll down a little bit, we can see that our experience spans ensuring streamlined marketing strategies. So it is trying to push a little bit of our marketing strategies and enhancing customer interactions across various channels. So it is pushing some of the information that we have about us currently in the knowledge base, but let's try to make sure that with the new information that it does have, if we can add some of our AI stuff in there. So let's put it in the feedback section.
Dan:
Sure. Sure. So we use the feedback section and we'll prompt it to mention just like it's AI capability offerings and we'll regenerate here and see what it does. Now we shouldn't expect to see much of anything because again, the current knowledge base doesn't really include any details about the capabilities and offerings. All I'm trying to do here is level set it so that when we update the knowledge base and we do a regeneration, hopefully we'll see the AI kick in.
Jasmin:
All righty. Now let's see what the new. So it changed our subject line. It changed. So we have a line down here. By collaborating with Joseki Tech, the foundation can leverage state of the art AI resources and strategic technology solutions to ensure your impactful projects. So we talked to it about AI and to offer AI capabilities, but it didn't actually go anywhere in depth into what that means or what the AI capabilities are. So the knowledge base, that should help it get a little bit more specific about it.
Dan:
Yeah, it did a fairly good job. Like injecting AI, right? Yeah, it did what it could, but it couldn't do anything specific. So at this point, I think we're trying to proceed and do a knowledge base update for sure. This is OpenAI. These are the assistants. Let's find our way back to our favorite hub boost assistant here. This is our assistant. And down here in this section is where the knowledge base files are located. And as you can see, I've uploaded a number of different files in different formats because we're testing the capabilities of the tool itself. Here you can see there's offerings information about us technologies that we can handle, projects that we've done, you know, what's specific to the process, what makes us special, and email best practices.
Dan:
This is kind of what the agent is using for its rules when it's determining how to make subjects and the content. So the couple of documents I've updated in our offerings, I have updated our offerings to mention AI. I've updated our technologies for OpenAI and chat GPT, and I also put a blurb in the projects about this hub boost plugin that we're working on. So what we want to do here, we can probably just add them, but I'm going to delete them first. I'm going to delete the offerings, I'm going to delete this "technologies", and I'm going to delete this "projects". And then we're going to go and add the new updated files. Yep. All right, so I'm selecting the files offerings, projects, and technologies. Get the files selected. Okay. And it added them back. Right.
Dan:
So here's the offerings, here's the projects, and here's the technologies added back. These should be the updated files. And we can just go, should be able to go right back to the contact and the assistant, and let's try to do a regenerate now. Okay.
Jasmin:
There we go. Okay, that's way more info. So we have a little bit about. We're excited to share our potential synergy between our cutting edge AI capabilities and your foundation's ambitious mission. Our advanced AI solutions, including chat, GPT and OpenAI integrations, can significantly boost the foundation's outreach and impact. We specialize in transforming data into actionable insights through AI and machine learning, creating more efficient and comprehensive marketing analytics strategies, and bespoke system integrations that is way better. It does give more information about who we are, what we do. Even the following paragraph is more specific about what it is that we at Joseki Tech do. So leveraging our vast experience in J two ee services and integrations to optimize existing systems.
Jasmin:
So that's our bread and butter of what it is that we do at the end of the day is our j two e and integration services. And now that we're introducing our AI capabilities, I think that this version of the email that is coming out with us with the new updated knowledge base is a vast improvement. It understands who we are better and understands what it is that we're trying to offer and how to integrate that into whatever the customer is seeking.
Dan:
Yes, at least. I mean, I can look at the copy here and determine, like, I can see clearly that pulls some of that stuff right out of the knowledge base updates. I actually would have liked to have seen it touch on the work that we're doing with Hub boost as an example. So I don't know, we could try to do a little bit more feedback.
Jasmin:
Let's add a little bit more feedback. Yeah. Let's say within the AI capabilities and offerings. Talk specifically about Hub boost.
Dan:
Call out the work we are doing. Let's start with that. Okay, better.
Jasmin:
And our proprietary tool, Hub Boost, is at the forefront of innovation, designed to optimize integrations and enhance customer experiences across multiple channels. I like that it's only adding a little bit about it, an idea of what it is that we're doing in this, including our proprietary Hub Boost. So it's giving a little bit more to the customer of what it is that we do, specifically what it is that we're doing now in our project of Hub Boost. And now it gives also a whole small paragraph about Hub Boost in particular about how that can help out your business and your outreach. I think it's great that we are, that we have this as a starting point, and now all we need to do is take this and tweak it a little bit more to make it friendly for the customer.
Dan:
Yeah, it definitely did a better job. Right? And you can see clearly it's starting to access some of the stuff we uploaded in the knowledge base. Remember, we have it kind of constrained here in the sense that it has to do what we're asking it to do in probably under 200 words and two paragraphs. Exactly. Its ability to actually go into details about, you know, what we have in a knowledge base is constrained. Awesome.
Jasmin:
So thank you so much for showing me all of these new capabilities that we have within Hub Boost. I'm very excited to see what the next steps are. Last time we talked about a little bit of how we want to take essentially that feedback section and integrate it into our, the main body section of the email so that it can generate the email based off something that we already want.
Dan:
That's correct. We'd really like the user you to be able to start crafting your email here and then when you proceed forward to the Hub Boost, have that AI not just, you know, generate it all for you, but it should take into account what you've typed as copy as a starting.
Jasmin:
Absolutely. And I'm so excited to see that update soon. All righty.
Dan:
Working hard.
Jasmin:
We'll get it to you and we will let you go.
Dan:
All right, thank you so much.
Jasmin:
Goodbye.
Dan:
Thank you.
Jasmin:
Goodbye.
